Matte Watch – Weekly Photo Contests Info

Come join in on the fun as we launch photo contests that can lead you to increasing prize levels from a single entry. We have an ongoing weekly contest that began July 2009, we will offer a new series of chances to win prizes at weekly, monthly, and yearly intervals. Look for details of our monthly and yearly continuation contests in our monthly and yearly contest articles. The weekly contest photo theme will be scenery photos. You can participate by entering your favorite photo from a local scenic location in each of our weekly photo contests. Submission requirements include photos in .JPG format, and less than 4mb each in size. Create a unique file name for your picture to avoid being overwritten by other contestant entries. After successfully uploading your photo, send an email to the email address on the picture mat site and give us details on the file name of your picture, information on where and when your picture was taken, and state your desire to enter the weekly contest. PLEASE DO NOT send pictures attached to your email correspondence. We will select the winners every Saturday. Participants will be notified about winning via email, with prizes posted on the site to be downloaded by the victorious photographers. Any prize winners who do not wish to allow their prizes to remain posted on the Matte Watch site may request that we remove the posting after prizes have been downloaded by the winners. We reserve the right to disqualify any contest entries due to inappropriate content or any other reason.

The weekly awards will acknowledge winning photos by including participant name, date won, location information, and the prize winning photo. When winning prizes are posted on our site, we may also announce a change to the photo theme for an upcoming week. New contest themes will be announced each Saturday.In addition to receiving awards, the top three winners will also be automatically entered to compete for prizes in the monthly contest level. Although a lack of participation at each contest level may result in prizes not being awarded, fewer participants allows you greater chances to win at all levels, so jump in and join the fun. Just submit your favorite scenic photo, and be in line for a chance to get recognition, prizes, and more.
